Mary Martinez-Gonzalez is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience providing services across the lifespan, from early childhood through older adulthood. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She currently works with children who have been removed from their families due to allegations of abuse and neglect, as well as with community-based clients, many of whom have experienced trauma or have been impacted by crime. Mrs. Martinez-Gonzalez brings several years of specialized experience working with foster care youth, adjudicated adolescents, teen parents, and individuals in inpatient psychiatric settings. She is currently pursuing credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist. Her clinical interests include bereavement, grief and loss, and the provision of trauma-informed care.
