She blends clinical expertise with a decade as a secondary educator, where she led award-winning speech/debate and academic programs. As a juvenile detention counselor, Marissa specializes in suicide prevention, providing mental health assessments, individual counseling, and monitoring for stabilization. She leads department trainings and supports new hires and masters-level interns through mentorship.
