About me
Lauren’s professional background began in organizational development with a private investment firm before she made the transition into education and spent over 4 years supporting the launch of a San Antonio based education non-profit and an educationconsulting firm with national reach. Lauren then spent almost a decade with Communities
In Schools of San Antonio (CIS-SA) where, as the Chief Strategy Officer, Lauren worked with education, policy, philanthropy, and community-based organizations to build more connected and impactful youth development partnerships across the community.
As the Executive Director of The Center for Program Evaluation and Research (CPER), Lauren is focused on delivering high-quality program design and evaluation services and fostering evaluative thinking to help organizations measure, communicate, and increase impact across the communities and populations they serve.
Lauren graduated from Texas State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in English and History, and a master’s in literature. She lives in San Antonio and spends her free time reading and exploring nature with her husband and 11-year-old son.
