About me
Bill Neely is co-founder and Executive Director at SACRD.org. Bill began the SACRD journey in 2017 as part of a project with the City of San Antonio Faith-Based Initiative as an AmeriCorps VISTA. SACRD.org is now the most comprehensive and most used directory of human service programs in Greater San Antonio. Bill is also a partner in Social Venture Partners and serves on the board as Treasurer. Bill previously served as Board Chair for Good Samaritan Community Services, Treasurer for Youth Code Jam, and Chair for Alamo Arts Ballet Company. Before changing his focus to the nonprofit world, Bill spent 25 years working for a distribution and logistics company in various software development and management roles, ending as Director of IT Governance. Bill also mentors the next generation of software developers as an adjunct Computer Science instructor at San Antonio College.
