About me
Anahi Esquivel, MA, LPC-Associate, NCC, is a Ph.D. student in Counselor Education and Supervision at St. Mary’s University. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baylor University. Her clinical and research interests include grief and loss, play therapy, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive counseling with children and adolescents. Anahi has provided counseling services at the Children’s Bereavement Center of San Antonio and served as a mental health coordinator at Children’s Health Hospital in Dallas. She has presented at national conferences, including the International Play Therapy Conference, and is dedicated to advancing counselor training and equitable mental health care.
