AbstractThis session explores the relationship between children’s mental health and educational supports within the IEP and Section 504 processes in schools. Participants will gain a practical understanding of eligibility, legal frameworks, and how clinical data can inform school-based interventions. Emphasis will be placed on effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to translate mental health needs into meaningful accommodations and services that improve student outcomes across academic, behavioral, and emotional domains.
